About Us

Owners

Luis Barroso & Desiree Jones

Luis and Desiree are long-time Treasure Valley residents who understand firsthand the realities of raising children while balancing full-time careers. Together, they built a blended family of four daughters and have always prioritized creating a safe, structured, and nurturing home environment.

After welcoming their first grandchild in 2019, they recognized an even greater need for dependable, high-quality childcare within their community. The challenges families faced during the COVID-19 pandemic further strengthened their desire to create a center that truly supports working parents while respecting individual family values and choices.

Although both Luis and Desiree maintain long-standing professional careers outside of the center, Mother Goose Child Care Center was founded out of purpose — not necessity. This intentional decision allows the center to operate from a place of stability, ensuring that revenue generated is reinvested directly back into the children, staff development, classroom materials, and continuous program improvement.

Mother Goose was built to be more than childcare. It is a place where children feel safe, families feel heard, and care is consistent, structured, and thoughtful.

Luis and Desiree are honored to serve the families of the Treasure Valley and remain committed to creating meaningful early learning experiences for every child who walks through their doors.

Taylor Moore

Born and raised right here in Idaho, Taylor has always felt called to work with children and create environments where they feel safe, seen, and celebrated. As the oldest of four younger siblings, she naturally stepped into a nurturing role early on, developing the patience, responsibility, and heart for caregiving that still define her today.

Taylor brings a calm, organized, and dependable presence to the classroom. She believes every child deserves to feel confident, capable, and completely themselves. With a strong focus on building meaningful relationships, she partners closely with families to create a warm, respectful space where children feel welcomed, understood, and excited to learn each day.
